BRANTFORD – Brantford Blues is back for its second year and things are shaping up to be loud – really loud.
Bringing the best blues acts from across Ontario to the heart of Brantford, Brantford Blues 2012 will rock the downtown alongside another spectacular event – the 8th annual Telephone City Car Show.
This three-day music festival presented by Therapy Lounge will kick-off at the Sanderson Centre on Friday, July 20th with multi Maple Blues Award winner, Downchild Blues Band. Labeled as the premier blues band in Canada, Downchild is sure to get blues lovers excited about the full weekend of talented musicians and performances. Acts to be announced in the coming months.
“Last year we proved that Brantford is the perfect city for a blues festival,” says Steve Donoghue, Festival Organizer and Owner of Therapy Lounge. “This year, we’re expanding and giving blues lovers more bands and more free entertainment for the whole family.”
